Find, Find Next on an index, in SQL?
The functionality of “LIKE” in a select statement is that it returns only those rows who start like the user specified. You don’t have to say “max line count” to stop it from running on and on. LIKE Ste% gives you only the Stevens and Stephans and Stene !
How do you replace that with other operators. My thinking is that you use >= and then limit the line count. Is that correct?
And can you mix character and numeric in one select statements where clause? I had some trouble doing so previously but I was working with LIKE and OR.
