High Sierra
Hi Reg,
Using 4.3.2.1 on High Sierra for a week now. So far, the only issue I am having is new security issues with TCPTalk. Kelly and I (Mostly Kelly telling me what I need to try as my higher level Mac knowledge is way limited) have been working on finding what needs to been done. See my post from last week on the three TCP commands causing problems.
Other than that, all seems to be working quite well. No display issues that I have seen so far and no crashing. Have not given it a huge workout as I have been focused on the TCPTalk thing but it looks good so far.

Subject: High Sierra
Hi all,
Up till now, I was under the impression that the version of macOS AFTER High Sierra was going to break the older versions of Omnis.
I just found this post from Andrew Smith in the Omnis Developer Forum:
We wish to inform developers that Omnis Studio 8.0.3 or earlier will
not support macOS 10.13, known as High Sierra. Omnis Studio 8.1 or
higher will support High Sierra and if you wish to create and run
applications on macOS 10.13, we recommend you upgrade to Omnis
Studio 8.1.x.
Some things never change, eh? I would have hoped that Omnis Software could provide more detail and I would have hoped that something so important would be publicised in a place where people would actually read it, i.e. this list.
Does anyone know exactly what does not work? I am interested in Studio 6.1, but I’m sure other developers will be interested in other versions.
Cheers,
Reg
