Hi Gav,
You would need to use a web server in order to do this and a valid certificate there. Check out this tech note to get this installed: www.omnis.net/technotes/tnjs0003.jsp <www.omnis.net/technotes/tnjs0003.jsp>
Once you have a valid server certificate and the web server is enabled for this you can then use $ctask.$issecure in order to switch to a secure connection.
