macOS 10.13 High Sierra to be the last OS to support 32 bit apps
AppleInsider has posted the following information today :
“In a pair of separate posts to its developer news website, Apple reminded developers of upcoming app restrictions related to iOS 11 and macOS 10.13 High Sierra. Specifically, iOS 11 will only support 64-bit apps, while macOS High Sierra marks the last Mac operating system to support 32-bit titles.”
It means that in late 2018, the next next macOS 10.14 won’t support Studio 4/5 and that Omnis libraries/apps should by then rely on Studio 8 to run on Mac.
Apple pulls the plug again but tells developers 18 months ahead.
