O7 – Using Del Key as menu shortcut – Translating Omnis
hi bub
to invoke the standard cut/copy paste commands, you can put this into your edit menu — or where every you want. These are thanks to using oWrite and michael put us onto them a long long time ago.
I imagine that there are others you can get to.
Standard menu command *Edit/11002 {Cut}
Standard menu command *Edit/11003 {Copy}
Standard menu command *Edit/11004 {Paste}
Standard menu command *Edit/11005 {Clear}
Standard menu command *Edit/11006 {Select All}
Standard menu command *Edit/11065 {Paste From File…}
Standard menu command *Edit/11001 {Undo}

The context sensitivity is gone if I use my own Edit menu, difficult to control when to activate ‘copy’, ‘undo’, etc… Is there actually a way to just translate Omnis Classic standard menus, might solve most issues? Windows menu for example is very useful but i would love to see it in dutch, french, etc…
