OS4.3.2.1 FTPput
Thanks Rudolf,
I would much rather get the Omnis Version to work right. I don’t want to
have to rely on a 3rd party application that has to be installed before you
can use it.
I sent a message to Omnis Support. But it always seems to be Friday when I
come across something I need to send to them and I probably will not here
back until next week.
It’s just strange that it actually sends the data but then seems to hang out
resending that it has sent all the data and never returning control to
Omnis.

Hi Michael,
curl (curl.haxx.se/docs/manual.html) is available for Linux, Mac and
Windows. It has much fewer limitations than the Omnis commands, and can be
used and tested independently of Omnis, and when that works, you can call
the command with appropriate parameters from Omnis. Can’t help with the
concrete FTPPut problem though, sorry. This will probably be a limitation in
the FTPPut command, so you will have to decide how much effort you want to
put in finding a solution, and how fast you could get a workaround running.
Regards
Rudolf

Betreff: OS4.3.2.1 FTPput
I am using the FTPput command successfully to send files.
However, the command seems to get stuck after it sends the file if the file
is larger than maybe 5 MB. I have to use
release.
Files smaller than 5 MB complete with no issues.
I have a progress bar setup so that I can see the report of FTPput. And it
does say that it has sent all the bytes. But it keeps reporting the same
thing over and over every second (That it has sent 13000000 of 13000000 for
instance) if the file is larger.
Anyone seen this?
