Re: O$8.x: is it worth to upgrade?
The roadmap Bob presented at the US conference earlier this month removed an 8.2 release. Instead, the thought was to release 9.0 towards the end of the year, roughly 2.5 years after 8.0 was released. That slightly ruffled some features since ODPP members will need to purchase the upgrade, but getting the update code editor our sooner is completely worth it in my opinion.
We’ve moved to 8.1.5 and it seems stable. We’re in the middle of a development cycle for a major update of our own products, so we’ve not deployed it widely yet.
