Re: O$8.x: is it worth to upgrade?
Phil;
I am simply trying to understand what version should be selected and committed to for production purposes.
If O$8.2 is just around the corner then why bother with O$8.1.5?
If O$9.x is few months away, then skipping O$8.x is maybe better option?
The question I posed is not so much about the financial aspect but rather about the efforts.
Upgrading to O$8.1.0 takes the same amount of time and energy as upgrading to O$8.1.5.
What I would like to know is how you and others are dealing with the proliferation of versions of Omnis as upgrading deployed installations is not a trivial thing to do.
What is the strategy?
