Re: Poll: Omnis Class Organization
Hi Alex,
Using folders is useful to group classes but when sharing classes across libraries: should we use a separate external library with version checking at runtime for calling libs or regenerate libraries and classes from a master library?
The big issue with Omnis – like many tools – is that programmers don’t use it the same way. For example, I still believe that MOFF are far more practical than schemas (even though Schemas have other advantages) for using lists and headed listboxes.
I still don’t know the best way to manage long Applescript, Javascript, HTML code inside Omnis because it’s a real PITA to ship these alongside the runtime.
But I digress here.
Best regards,
Alain
