upgrade from OS X 8.5 (Mountain Lion) to 10.13 (High Sierra)
Looks good to me Jim.
If you have spare cash, upgrade the internal HDs for SSD.
As this was the server version, you will have 2 x HDs inside. A bit fiddly to upgrade bot, it took me 30 mins. And I recommend you spend 10 minutes using uTube to se how to get the second drive out.
Then if some money left over, max the RAM to 16GB.
