upgrade from OS X 8.5 (Mountain Lion) to 10.13 (High Sierra)
Hi Jim
A clean install of 10.13.1 is preferable, even if you’ve upgraded to 10.9 or
later. Digital signatures for kernel extensions (kexts) for legacy software
may ruin your upgrade experience >*(
Suggest you:
1.Clone your server
2.Erase your HDD and clean install High Sierra
3.Recover your data etc. from the clone
4.Run EtreCheck or similar to isolate any orphan launch daemons etc.
Just my two bits – HTH
