For what its worth I go through the same pain at the BBC every 5 years….
As a large public body they too have stringent rules on their suppliers – which of course I fail miserably under….
So they have to appoint a different supplier, subverting me to ‘maintenance only for the time being’, then spend large sums with the alternate supplier before throwing them out as useless, and reverting me as ‘the encumbent supplier’ which gets me back in the door….
It has happened three times now – what a waste of taxpayers money ! Give it to me directly instead 🙂
It’s just a game, and provided you have the support of the user body internally, you will hopefully be wriggled until they find a way to keep you in !
Not a whole lot else you can do other than employ dummy people to look bigger !!
