Hi Matthews,
I edited one of the example to create an XLXS file starting from a CSV file:
* I save a CSV file from Omnis
* Run an external .EXE compiled from this libraries
* Obtain an XLSX file like the one attached.
If you like I can send you the c# souce 😉
Bye
Rocco

Hi Grant,
I use an external provided by Doug E and the Artsman gang that is a
wrapper for LibXL, a C++ library that can read and write Excel files. Doug
was distributing his external for free and maybe still is. I purchased a
license for LibXL, $200 for unlimited use.
There may be better approaches now, but this has worked well for me for
the past 4 years.

I need to be able to output an xlsx file from Studio.
I can produce a file, tab-delimited, and add the .xlsx name to it,
and it is openable by OpenOffice.
However, it is not really an .xlsx file, but a CSV (tab).
Is there some way to generate a REAL .xlsx file?
Grant
